Ruark R1 matches your fresh lick of paint

Pastel colours are - apparently - the colour to have on your walls this year, so grab your paintbrush and daub out your shocking pink feature wall. Ruark have cottoned on to this trend, as (following on from limited edition red and yellow variations of previous years) their award-winning R1 DAB and FM radio will soon be available in pastel blue.

We've looked at the R1 before within these pages and have nothing but praise for its styling and sound, so it's little wonder this blue version is equally well received. It's a grower - the backlit blue display does go well with the case when you power it up and - for those looking for something a bit different than a white or black version, the R1 certainly fits the bill.

It's available from May 2013 from retailers listed to the left at £179.
