Roberts Sound 100 goes for a big Bose sound at affordable price

Roberts has a knack of producing great-sounding, affordable music systems and the Sound 100 is no exception.

Loaded with CD player, iPod/iPhone dock, DAB and FM, the timber-decked Sound 100 is wrapped with a real wood casing and sports separate bass and treble controls to tweak the sound, if you wish.

Flexible dual alarms wake you once, every weekday, on weekends or daily to your choice of DAB, FM, iPod/iPhone, CD or buzzer. Sleep and snooze timers, seven display brightness levels for the backlit blue display and headphone socket allows you to site the '100 next to your bed without worrying if it'll keep you (or your partner) awake all night.

An AUX in socket (for playback of a generic MP3 player through the system) and remote control complete the picture.

Measuring in at 326mm (W) x 108mm (H) x 218mm (D), the Sound 100 is a sturdy 2.8kg and packs 2 x 7 Watts power output.

Roberts Sound 100 music system is available to buy now at under £250 - check the left-hand column for where to get one.
