10 good reasons to buy Roberts' latest Play10 radio

Roberts Radio have introduced their latest budget DAB radio, the Play 10, with DAB, DAB+ and FM out of the box, earning it a 'digital tick'. A compact 180mm wide by 105mm high and just 55mm deep, the Play 10 sells for under £40.

There's a headphone socket for stereo listening from stereo stations, complementing the single speaker. Best of all, though, is that the Play 10 will run on 4 'AA' size batteries and has three direct-access buttons for accessing favourite station presets, which means no more hunting through menus to find 6 Music or Radio X.

Powering up for the first time, exend the telescopic aerial and the Play 10 will hunt out all available DAB stations, allowing you to select six favourites for storage in the radio's preset memories. Weighing in at 350grams, the radio is light and portable to be taken out and about, with the added attraction of using standard or rechargeable AA batteries.

Roberts have come up trumps again with a no-nonsense, reliable DAB radio sporting a range of simple features accessed via simple buttons and dials.

Check the left-hand column to find out where to get one, for under £40 for the Roberts Radio Play10.
