Soak up some Summer Sun on your DAB digital radio in Scotland

Scottish Summer Sun Radio is on air now across central Scotland, with a soundtrack to the summer with dance hits, disco tunes and guitar anthems from bands such as De'Lacy, Black Box, Spiller, Sub Sub, Bryan Adams, Blur and Robert Miles.

The station is broadcast on a digital frequency on DAB digital radio - block/channel 11D, using six transmitters in and around the central Scotland belt - Edinburgh, Glasgow and most areas in-between, so you need a a new type of radio which can pick up both DAB and DAB+ digital broadcasts over the airwaves through its built-in aerial, to make sure you've a future-proofed way of listening to DAB digital radio. The station appears on the digital radio bundle operated by SwitchDigital; if you can see 103.1 Central FM, BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal and talkSPORT Scotland in your DAB station list, you will be able to receive Scottish Summer Sun Radio.

The station is the second themed radio station from the Scottish Sun; the first being Scottish Sun Xmas Radio, which broadcast over the 2016 festive period.
