Where to get it

You can get the Pure Move 400D from John Lewis at around £80, Amazon at around £75, or from Co-op Electrical and Argos online (item 929/2716) (black finish)

Have radio, will travel

Although you might be thinking of some late continental sun, stop for a minute - you'd miss your favourite radio programmes and the 2012/3 season while you're away, no? Better to erect a tent in some damp, uninspiring field and trudge up a windy mountain for a weekend, instead. While your doing this, there's no need to neglect the footy or Led Zepp, thanks to this 400D radio.

Pure's latest marvel is a handy, go-anywhere DAB and FM palmtop. Featuring a built-in rechargeable battery, the Move 400D supports DAB and FM broadcasts from the UK.

The radio sports a backlit orange display, features 10 DAB and FM presets (accessed by directional buttons on the front of the 400D) and has both 3.5mm headphone and line-input sockets, the latter for connection of an MP3 player.

The 4200mAh battery is good for up to 60 hours' use between charges and the Move 400D is also supplied with its own 5 volt power adaptor.

There's even alarm clock functionality, making it ideal for taking away on holiday in GB.

Measuring 150mm wide x 85mm tall x 27mm deep and weighing in at 300 grams, the 400D is a eco-friendly, compact palmtop radio. The radio costs £90 and is available from Autumn 2012; keep checking back here and we'll let you know where to get one.
