Saga goes on in Glasgow
In one of the most popular local FM radio licence contests, Saga 105.2FM has emerged as the winner to provide the first new full-time radio service for Glasgow city itself, in thirty years.
Saga Radio, aiming itself squarely at the over-50s, aims to broadcast melodic music and talk shows to the people of Glasgow from next year. Saga Group, which will operate the station, fought off competition from twelve other applicants to convince the radio regulator it should be awarded the licence.
