A cornucopia of brand new stations to hit Yorkshire in 2003

Established regional digital radio player MXR Ltd and newcomer Yorkshire and Humberside Digital Radio (YHDR) could set the airwaves alight around the Yorkshire regional in time for Easter next year, as both have applied to run the new DAB digital radio multiplex for the area.

The coverage area will include the former West and South Yorkshire counties and parts of North Yorkshire and Humberside.
